Please tell us a little bit about yourself: I am a semi-retired community college instructor

What brings you to this website?: I have had an interest in totems, spirit guides & power animals, shamanism for at least 10 years.

Do you have a special animal totem that has come to you?: I have been told that the polar bear, quarter horse, perhaps 1 or 2 other animals are (or have been) important to me.

What are some of your favorite Animal Totems books and resources?: I have forgotten. I used to have copies of 2 or 3 books on power animals. I can't remember the author's name (male).

What are some of your favorite Shamanic Journeying CD's, Musicians, and Music?: I have listened to some from Michael Harner (?), as well as some produced by Native Americans.

What kind of content would you like to see added to this site?: I haven't even looked at your site, so am sorry that I don't know what to say.

What kinds of Topics would you like to see covered in our live chats?: I was a child psychologist for almost 30 years and still teach psychology courses, part-time. I saw a few exceptional children that my textbooks excluded. I became interested in shamanism after encountering clinical phenomena my academic and clinical training, and professional books could not explain. Now, I am too left-brained to be aware of any psychic gifts and also have found myself skeptical of most of the people I met claiming to be psychic. Still, I have encountered things which I could not explain, was not satisfied with the explanations of colleaques, and came to trust my clients. For example, telekinesis, ancestors or friends, apparently, talking to me through my client, and attachments of discarnate entities (spirits of deceased persons who had died, in some cases, dozens of years prior to the birth of my clients). A few years ago, I experienced something so compelling I will never forget it. I thought I woke up in the early morning to see 4:44 am on my clock. It was a dream. If memory serves, I had the same dream 3x. Then on the 4th time, I made sure I was awake. I bet you can guess what time it was. Everyone I have shared this with has a different interpretation none of which I can resonate with.

How did you find us?: Serendipity. I am engaged to a wonderful woman with Irish ancestry. She loves Celtic Knots, symbols, so I was trying to read a bit on the tree of life, which brought me to your cite.
