- Please tell us a little bit about yourself
- My name is Mark. I love the Earth, looking at the stars and planets at night, and being barefoot in the soil with my face to the sun during the day. My great joy in this incarnation is witnessing kindness and thoughtful acts unto to others (be it people, "animals," or nature.) My hope is all things experience peace, love, and growth.
- What brings you to this website?
- To share and learn. Mostly to learn. I have had many dreams of a young, golden brown bear (not a cub or full grown.) Meditation and a desire to learn from these dreams led to finding the Medicine Wheel and Chief Sun Bear.
- Do you have a special animal totem that has come to you?
- Bear, Turtle, and Hummingbird. Per the Medicine Wheel I am an otter of the butterfly clan; my wife however is a brown bear of the turtle clan. My son and I witnessed a cloud formation once in the form of a bear, turtle, and hummingbird above the mountains near our home, after a time I had already shared them to be my believed totem (Bear, Turtle, Hummingbird.)
- What are some of your favorite Animal Totems books and resources?
- Learning, discovering as of the present.
- What are some of your favorite Shamanic Journeying CD's, Musicians, and Music?
- The sounds the day makes, the ocean waves crashing, wind, running creeks and rivers. Music includes The Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Pearl Jam, Mozart. Very much enjoy native flute music and dream like sound scapes, as well as, fiddles and banjos.
- What kind of content would you like to see added to this site?
- Any thing that may help some one find peace, knowledge, or comfort. To learn more about Shamanism.
- What kinds of Topics would you like to see covered in our live chats?
- Feed back on meditative experinces, shamanism, helpful learning practices, sharing of positive energy and acknowledging and sharing love for Earth Mother.
- How did you find us?
- From personal experience; physical (cloud formations,) spiritual (dreams of bear,) and paraphysical (meditation led to Chief Sun Bear and the Medicine Wheel.) I like to draw, for many years I have drawn a roundish man with a wide brimm hat, when I saw Chief Sun Bear's photo, I felt there was a connection, like an energy current. Believe my spirit guide (humming bird) has led me to this path.
