HOW TO USE THE FORUM DISCUSSION. BLOG and COMMENT BOARD FEATURES:
To ADD a DISCUSSION to this group, simply click on the + START A DISCUSSION LINK, or + ADD A DISCUSSION in the upper right corner of your screen, and add your subject header, and then just enter your text content into the text screen window.
You can also add pictures, links, and files to your discussion or comment post using the LINK icon, the CAMERA icon and the FILE icon located on the tool bar above the text field entry window. You can also bold, italicize and underline text by HIGHLIGHTING it first, and then clicking on the B, I, U located on the text window tool bar as well.
To ADD a PHOTO
, click on the CAMERA icon and then on BROWSE; select a photo from your PC library, or from an onsite photo gallery (add the URL to the photo) and hit the ADD button. It will show up in your text window as HTML CODE, which will change to a picture when you SAVE your discussion.
To CREATE an ACTIVE LINK
, first *HIGHLIGHT* the text you wish to make into an ACTIVE LINK and then click on the LINK icon. COPY and PASTE the URL from the page you want to link to into the http:// field window and hit ADD. The "activated" live link will also be in HTML code, and will become a LIVE LINK when you hit the SAVE button.
To ADD a VIDEO
to your DISCUSSION or COMMENT, simply COPY and PASTE THE EMBED CODE from the site where the video is located INTO the text screen window. This embed code will be in HTML format, but will "show" the video itself when you hit the SAVE button.
To ADD a FILE
, position your cursor where you want the file to be added, click on the FILE icon on the top tool bar, then on BROWSE. Select the file you wish to add, and hit the ADD button. Your file will be saved when you hit the SAVE button.
